Busy, Busy, Busy... Oh, and a Project.

New projects, new characters, new programs to learn... Schedule's been all sorts of cramped lately.
Anyways, aside from the boring exceptionally-vague details I just gave you all, I think I'm going to start doing simple commissions once I learn the magics of PhotoShop.
Also, I'm going to be doing a sort of thing for every one of my fine watchers and all of those people who gave me 70 watchers and 4,700 views for my meager skills. Thanks everyone for bearing with my crap for this long.

Well, TrotCon was a friggan blast! Wish my journals would have uploaded, but while the Sheraton hotel is certainly an amazing place to stay, the internet blows all kinds of unmentionables. :/
Anyhow, the Con was fun. Met a ton of fellow artist, both the professional, the amateur, and the legendary. Got an unparalleled experience at the sick rave running from 8pm-4am seeing musicians like PhillyPu(needs more popularity! 
), DJ Tetsuo, even Eurobeat made an appearance. Was able to meet Heather Breckel on the last day in the Travelling Pony Museum, got to have a drink with Peter New, and spoke briefly with Dave Polsky. Made a ton of new friends, got approached by a few individuals wanting to give me project opportunities, even.

Made a ton of new friends, got approached by a few individuals wanting to give me project opportunities, even. For my first Con, I'm really, really glad that it was TrotCon. Really the whole experience had a sort of small-town vibe to it... it wasn't all professional, and most of the time the weekend pass holders would end up helping the staff with whatever needed doing. It was three days among a really tight group of friends, rather than a bunch of strangers who like ponies, ya' know?
Anyhow, I have a ton of pictures and photos from TrotCon that I should probably upload... but I have some back-logged stuff that needs done first. So yes, I will spare you all the boring details of the most amazing Con experience ever... for now.

Guess who will be attending Trotcon 2013 next week in Columbus, Ohio?
That's right: ME!
It's going to be my first fan convention ever, so I'm really excited to go. I'm going to be slumming it with my pal
while there. So, if any of you are going (of course I mean anyone state-side) keep an eye out for me. I'll be the big guy with the Wonderbolts hoodie and dark green messenger bag, probably being followed around by a guy dressed like Dr. Who... No, that isn't a joke.
I'll be trying to peddle some OC and custom ponysona sketches while there to afford food. Classic "Will Pony 4 Food" sort of deal. These will be done made-to-order, on-the-spot. I was thinking maybe $5 custom sketches, but I'm unsure if that's a bit much for a hard sketch. I'll also try to find a way to do custom digital work, but I may just host that as commissions here on dA while the con is taking place. (Damn you, lack of tablet! DX)
I'm excited to see John Joseco, Peter New, Dave Polsky, and it wouldn't be a party without Solrac! Not to mention PixelKitties and Additive Subtractive.
So, I'm going to be ghosting for a while longer. Aside from finding a hotel and figuring out travel arrangements, I've never been too adept at road trips so I'm taking my time with this one and making sure I don't miss anything...
Crap, I need pencils and new sketch books! Talk at y'all soon. Stay classy, folks! d(^-^)z
